Kids Tae Kwon Do – Ages 6 to 15

This program is designed for elementary and middle school-aged children who are 6 and up. This program is designed to develop life skills (listening, focus, concentration, and self-discipline) and give your child a martial arts education that will help them excel in all aspects of their lives. Children will learn the Tae Kwon Do curriculum, which includes self-defense, hand and kicking techniques, sparring, and weapons. Advanced programs include competition training and weapons, leadership, and junior instructor training.

All our programs start with a FREE trial program. We offer this to make sure that our school is the right one for you. We would also like to evaluate the participant to make sure that he/she is physically ready for our program and actually like it! Little Tigers – Ages 4 to 6

Little Tigers: Little Tigers is a class for children between the ages of 4 and 5. It is an introduction to the martial art of Tae Kwon Do. The children will learn discipline and the first commands of this martial art.

The first kicks, punches, and basic grappling techniques are introduced in this class. It is a class where children learn and have fun and parents enjoy watching. There are two tests to change belts. The children start with a white belt and move to Tiger Yellow and then to Tiger Orange. After becoming an Orange belt, the child is ready for a more serious program.
Uniform required. 45 minutes class.

Kids MMA

The MMA for Kids (6- to 15-Year-Olds) program at OC Kickboxing & Mixed Martial Arts is an MMA program for children between the ages of 6 and 15 years old. Character development is taught along with mixed martial arts training. Muay Thai, Jiu Jitsu, Boxing, and Tae Kwon Do training are provided in a safe, clean and positive environment. It’s a great way for children to develop self-confidence, coordination, and discipline in addition to MMA and self-defense skills.

Kids Boxing/ Muay Thai

Children will be taught the basic stance, footwork, and punching combinations and how to properly use boxing equipment such as pads and bags. They will practice and perfect a wide range of boxing drills and a variety of body weight and strength conditioning exercises along with cardiovascular and flexibility-related activities that will measurably improve their overall physical conditioning and mental focus.
Children will be broken into groups based on age and skill level to insure they have a great experience.

Kids Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

This is often thought of as the chess of martial arts. It teaches strategy, patience, discipline and sportsmanship. This martial art advances by belt and is taught both in GI, (uniform) and No-Gi, (sports shorts and shirt. It's a great mental and physical Martial Art and excellent for children adapt into their physical training.

Kids X-Fit Bootcamp / Ninja Course

Kids X-Fit promotes healthy body and mind through bootcamp style exercises using both body weight and fitness equipment and gear appropriate for children. Box jumps, 35' climbing wall, ninja course, core strength and cardio are some of the many weekly challenges they will be challenged with.
